​Inspired by Lantana camara—a wildflower I played with as a child, both a destructive subtropical invasive species and a plant with vigorous reproductive power—I created 18 generations of plaster belly casts, arranged in a circular form. This ever-proliferating pattern reflects how compulsory motherhood replicates itself across generations, with each daughter’s body becoming a vessel for ancestral expectations.
