“Farewell” is a performance that documents the process of “saying goodbye” to the only intact old roof tile found on the remains of a historical site. It starts with me grinding the tile into powder and then spreading the ashes back to the derelict site. These actions are my ways of telling people that the historical architecture we lost would never return.
